Donna Maxine (Hollifield) Walker

Donna Maxine Walker, 76, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Gibson Family Center for Hospice.

She was born on December 17, 1944 in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of Oliver Maxwell Hollifield and Anna Lucille Ward Hollifield. Donna married Larry Walker on April 30, 1973 and was a deputy at the auditor’s office for several years. She was a member of Hymera First Baptist Church and enjoyed watching the sermons via Facebook live preached by her son-in-law, Pastor Curt Bedwell.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Jack and Dennis Hollifield and three sisters; Sue Timms, Lula Belle Walls and Sandy Tatum.

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Larry Walker, son, Todd Williams (Rhonda) of Shelburn, Indiana, four daughters; Lisa Williams (Wade) of Owensville, Indiana, Lori Williams of Sullivan, Indiana, Tonya Bedwell (Curt) of Sullivan, Indiana and Anna Walker of Sullivan, Indiana, brother, Roger Hollifield (Marilyn) of Sullivan, Indiana, brother-in-law, Jim Timms of Terre Haute, Indiana and two sisters-in-law; Venus Hollifield of Sullivan, Indiana and Sharon Hollifield of Sullivan, Indiana. She is also survived by several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with her son-in-law, Pastor Curt Bedwell officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Wilfred, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.

Due to State Mandate, only 50 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time, and face mask must be worn.
