Doris Anne Cox, 90, of Sullivan, Indiana was welcomed in heaven by her Lord Jesus, husband, parents, sister Mary Witten, brothers; Kenneth, Randy and Marvin and many friends on February 17, 2021.
She was born on October 17, 1930 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of Dennie and Jeannetta Shepherd Martin. Doris married her best friend, Haskell Cox on April 2, 1949. She was member of the First Christian Church for 49 years and she taught children’s Sunday school and led a ladies Sunday school class. Doris worked at Millburn’s Pharmacy for over 30 years.
Survivors include her three sons; Terry Cox (Nee) of Murrels Inlet, South Carolina, Dennie Cox of Wellington, Florida and David Cox (Dawn) of Sullivan, Indiana, sister, Carolyn Robinson in Lake Park, Florida, four grandchildren; Anna, Johnathan, Noah and Jacob and one great-grandchild, Rogan.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with David Cox officiating. A private interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana.
