Douglas Kim Rusk, 74, of Farmersburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

He was born on January 14, 1950, in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Denzil Rusk and Elsie Peden Rusk. Kim married Sondra Fox on December 13, 1969. He was the owner and operator of Rusk Auto Services for 47 years. Kim was a proud member of the Sullivan County Shifters. He was on the advisor’s board at Sullivan High School Auto Shop and was a big supporter of the program. Kim enjoyed drag racing, car shows and cruising around.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Carla Rusk and sister, Karen Rusk.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years Sondra Rusk and son, Todd Rusk of Shelburn, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with James Fox officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home.
