Esther Lang

Esther Lang, 91, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Harrison’s Crossing Health Campus. 
 

She was born August 31, 1931 in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of Dewey Hildenbrand and Gladys Turner Hildenbrand. Esther was a life-long homemaker and a member of the Westside Church of Christ. 
 

Esther is preceded in death by parents, husband, George Lang, two brothers; Edgar Hildenbrand and Loren Hildenbrand and two sisters; Rachel Whitt and Ruth Baker. 
 

Survivors include her son, Dean (Cindy) Lang of Palmer, Alaska, four daughters; Georgia (Steven) Davis of Terre Haute, Indiana, Connie Childress of Oldsmar, Florida, Bonnie Bradford of Evansville, Indiana and Pamela Hendrix of Leesburg, Florida, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 
 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Wes Bedwell officiating. Interment will follow in K of P Cemetery in Hymera, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
