Ferman Lloyd Edwards

Ferman Lloyd “F.L.” Edwards, 69, of Shelburn, IN passed away Monday May 11, 2026, at Signature Health Care of Terre Haute, IN.

            He was born on August 11, 1956, in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Darrell Edwards and June T. Fugimori Edwards.

            F.L. was a member of the Ebenizer Church of Shelburn, and the Sullivan Masonic Lodge #263, he was formerly a Correctional Officer at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility and the Putnamville Correctional Facility. He enjoyed working with wood, making American Flags, rocking horses, and furniture

He was preceded in death by his parents.

            Survivors include his wife of 47 years Melissa Loveall Edwards whom he married on March 21, 1979, two daughters, Sarah Lynn Enochs of Shelburn, IN, Marie Robertson (Chad) of Sullivan, IN, a brother, Darrell Edwards (Pam) of Sullivan, IN , sister, Opal Zellars

of Mooresville, IN, 4 grandchildren; Akira Lusk (Calvin), Alana Strain (Hunter), Alydia Robertson, and Uriah Enochs., also 3 great grandchildren; Everly Strain, Liam Lusk and Winter Lusk.

            Funeral services will be Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 1:00PM at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN, with Pastor Aam Snyder officiating. There will be a Masonic Service before the

 Funeral Thursday, visitation will be from 11:00AM until services Thursday.
