George William Clark, 96, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

George was born on January 15, 1928, in Pleasantville, Indiana, the son of Freeman Bruce and Louie Gladys Gibbs Clark. He was a godly man who loved his family and church dearly, was a member of REMC and a life-time member of the White River Valley Livestock Auction and was a recipient of the FHA Farm Family of the Year in 1972.

George is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Prose Clark; wife Gayle Cass Clark; son, Rex; daughter-in-law, Frances Memering Clark; grandson, Kevin Ravellete; great granddaughter, Rachel Ravellette; two brothers—Wesley and Gene; three sisters—Hazel Clark Wolfe, Iva Clark Meng, and Ina Clark Hancock.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Robert, Linda Ravellette (Curt), and Donald (Brenda); daughter-in-law, Ellen Clark; grandchildren, Allen Clark (Neysa), Crystal Flath (Steve), Janice Grubbs (Chris), Brian Ravellette (Amy), Rodney Ravellette (Angela), Todd Clark (Janna), Chris Clark (Jill), Cara Davis (Mike), Julie Shew (Kyle), Jennifer Brown (Scott), Suzanne Hamilton (Andrew), Kimberly Riddle, James Clark (Stacie), Kyla Rose (Brandon), and Kerri Crowe (Kevin); over 50 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 26, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Todd Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Indian Prairie Cemetery in Carlisle, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home.
