Hope A. (Hoesman) Vaughn

Hope A. Vaughn, 89, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Millers Merry Manor.

She was born on June 30, 1930 in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of William L. Hoesman and Monna Mae Mason Hoesman. Hope retired from Sullivan License Branch. She was a member of New Lebanon Methodist Church.

Hope is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hayden Wheaton Vaughn, brother, Mitchell Hoesman, sister, Florence Poole and one grandson, Landon Vaughn.

Survivors include son, Steven Vaughn (Luann) of New Lebanon, Indiana, two daughters; Debra Phegley of Shelburn, Indiana and Bonnie Byrum (David) of Boonville, Indiana, sister, Kay Coulter of Sullivan, Indiana, four grandchildren; Shawn Byrum (Jill), Sierra Campbell (Shane), Logan Phegley and Kyndal Davis (Colby) and eight great-grandchildren.

A private graveside services will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in New Lebanon, Indiana. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers Hope requested donations be made to the Sullivan County Humane Society or New Lebanon Methodist Church.
