Obituary
Howard Glenn Rusk, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1st, 2023. Howdy was the son of E. Foy and Gwendolyn Ellis Rusk.
A graduate of Sullivan High Class of 1963, he lived in Sullivan except for a stint in the Air Force.
He is survived by his sister, Diane McCammon and brother, Randy (Sharon) Rusk all of Fort Wayne, Indiana and sister, Janice (David) Pierson of Billings, Montana. Additionally, he has left behind several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. His Sullivan family includes members of the First Christian Church. Many knew him as the one to call to fix it, clean it or haul it away.
An expert repair man and refinisher of antique furniture, he also built showroom quality furniture for family. He was interested in all branches of science, remembered everything he read, and assembled a large library of science materials.
His friends Bill and Diane Wyman were a Godsend as he dealt with many hospitalizations and cancer treatments. Special thanks to them
A celebration of life will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at First Christian Church in Sullivan, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted Brust Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Sullivan First Christian Church.
