Ida “Helen” McCammon, 92, of Sullivan, IN passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 25, 1929 in Hymera, IN the daughter of Roy Wall and Elizabeth (Sluder) Wall.
Helen was loved by many and had a heart of gold. She was a loving wife, amazing mother, grandmother and a wonderful Mamaw. She loved working word search puzzles and cooking. She had a passion for flowers, mushroom hunting and fishing in the day.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosie Waymier (Dusty) of Sullivan, IN, Pam McConchie (Dave) of Marshal, Illinois, four grandchildren, Chris Waymier (Katrina), Kelli Stuller (Michael Farmer), Ryan Stuller (Amanda French), Matt Ashcraft, five great grandchildren, Dustin Waymier, Alyssa Stuller (Cole Moody), Shelby Waymier (Caleb Hancock) Rhett Stuller, McKensie Stuller (Addison Purcell) and three great great grandchildren Awbrey, Anniston and Avionna.
She was preceded in death by her parents, also her first husband, Bert Chastain and her second husband George McCammon, a daughter, Karen Chastain and a son, Davy Chastain, fifteen siblings and a grandson, Ryan Ashcraft.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
