James “Jim” Allen Miller, 63, of Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his residence.

He was born on February 10, 1957 in Blue Island, Illinois the son of Melvin Craig and Azalia Miller. Jim graduated from Sullivan High School. He was a member of Indian Prairie Baptist Church.

Jim is preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Alonzo “Red” and Bessie Miller, brother, David Miller and nephew, Kyle Snyder.

Survivors include his mother, Azalia Barfield, sister, Donna (Rick) Hinton of Palmetto, Florida, nieces; Shelli Snyder and Brittany Miller, nephew, Josh (Rose) Miller, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with interment in IOOF Cemetery in Carlisle, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to IOOF Cemetery Foundations or Carlisle Ambulance Service.
