Jamie Jackson Obituary

Jamie L. Jackson 55, of Carlisle, IN went to be with the Lord with her family by her side Friday, April 24, 2020 at her residence.

            She was born in Brazil, IN April 16, 1965 the daughter of James I Halberstadt and Darlene Riddell Halberstadt.

            Jamie, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Lover of life and all who met her were family, she never met a stranger. You could know her for ten minutes and expect a hug. She will be greatly missed by her family and she will live on through our memories.

Jamie was a member of the Abundant Grace House of Prayer in Sullivan, she was also formerly employed at Toy’s Auto Parts in Sullivan, IN. She was a gearhead, mechanic and all- around automotive expert / enthusiast.

            Survivors include her husband, Mark Jackson, two daughters; Kimberly Cooksey (Chris Palmer) of Sullivan, IN and Alicia Hiatt (Raymond) of Sullivan, and five grandchildren; Hailey Salyer, Mariyah Parker, Reagan Butler, Deziray Hiatt and Amiela Hiatt.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Monday, April 27, 2020 at the Disciples of Faith Church in Carlisle, IN with Pastor Tommy Pearison officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodward Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until services Monday at the Church 1121 E. Depot St. Carlisle, IN 47838. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
