Obituary

   Jane Padgett-Flores, 83, of Worthington and formerly of Sullivan, IN passed away Friday July 7, 2023 at the Waters of Sullivan.

                She was born in Dubuque, IA October 8, 1939, the daughter of Carl Brown and Margaret Crawford Brown.

                Jane worked for Kroger's for 29 years and also owned a store in Worthington called Dusty Collectables.

                She was proceeded in death by her parents, her former husband Marion “Dusty” Padgett, two brothers John and Bob Brown and a sister Maxine Tatom.

                Survivors include her husband Adelaido “Lalo” Flores Moreno of Worthington, IN, three sons; Jerry McNeely of Menifee, CA, Joe McNeely of Fort Wayne, IN, Jeff McNeely (Michelle) of Sullivan, IN, a brother Dan Brown (Nancy) of Sullivan, IN, seven grandchildren: Justin McNeely, Spencer McNeely (Isabella), Alexa McNeely, Robert Houlihan, Braxton McNeely, Cameron McNeely (Crystal), Abbey McNeely and one great-grandchild Hazel McNeely. Numerous nieces and nephews including Scott Brown (Tammie), Mandy Brown Stanifer (Eric), and Heather Brown.

                There will be no visitation. Cremation has been chosen and there will be a Celebration of Life scheduled for the fall of this year.

                Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
