Jean Ann Camel, 68, of Sullivan, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

She was born on October 29, 1953, in Sullivan, Indiana, daughter of Ivan L. Alexander and Jocelyn J. Parks Alexander.

Jean Ann is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dana Camel and two brothers: Jeffrey L. Alexander and Mark R. Alexander.

Survivors include her three daughters; Carri Nemeth (Kenny McCammon) of Reelsville, Indiana, Leslie Perkinson (Ryan) of Sullivan, Indiana and Amy Norwood (Bryndon Steele) of Sullivan, Indiana, two sisters; Mary Lynn Shorter of Carlisle, Indiana and Jennifer Alexander Hahn (Kevin) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, five grandchildren; Alexandra Brown (Hunter), Jocelyn Monroe (Kade), Kyle Nemeth, Caden Nemeth and Kathryn Steele, one great-grandchild, Baylor Brown, mother-in-law, Joyce Camel of Lincoln, Illinois, sister-in-law, Cheri Esayian of Wildwood, Missouri and several nieces and nephews. Jean Ann is also survived by her beloved dogs, Mia and Stella and cat, Gordon.

A tribute will be held at Sullivan Elks on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial contributions to be made to the Sullivan County Humane Society 2425 N Section St, Sullivan, IN 47882.
