Jeffrey Wayne Sheffler, 40, of Shelburn, Indiana passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born on October 18, 1979 in Terre Haute, Indiana the son of Keith Sheffler and Judy Hulen Sheffler. Jeffrey graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Criminology and worked at Rose Hulman as a public safety officer. He married Katherine Elizabeth Cotton on April 18, 2009. He was a member of Farmer Chapel Community Church of Terre Haute, Indiana.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his sister, Amy Jo and grandparents.

Survivors include his parents; Keith and Judy Sheffler of Shelburn, Indiana, wife, Elizabeth Sheffler, daughter, Natalie Lynore Sheffler, brother, Kevin Sheffler (Tina) of Terre Haute, Indiana, niece, Nasya Noble (Michael) of Terre Haute, Indiana, nephew, Larry Dietz of Terre Haute, Indiana, mother-in-law and father-in-law; Narda and Page Cotton of Greencastle, Indiana, brother-in-law; Page Cotton (Jaclyn) of Zionsville, Indiana and twin niece and nephew; Connor and Sydney Cotton.

Graveside service at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Terry Whitlock officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
