Jerry D. Tomey

Jerry D. Tomey, 77 of Sullivan, IN passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.

            He was born in Sullivan Co., Indiana May 1, 1944, the son of Clarence Tomey and Mary Kraft Tomey.

            Jerry owned Jerry’s Body Shop in Sullivan, IN for 35 years.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, also his wife, Wanda Spencer Clark, and a sister, Dorothy Pearson.

            Survivors include two sons, Jerry Tomey Jr. (Brittany) of Sullivan, IN and Robert Tomey (Angelique) of Sullivan, IN. a daughter, Billie Stockrahn (Mark Scott) of Terre Haute, IN. two brothers, Larry Tomey of Decatur, IL, John Tomey (Virginia) of Terre Haute, IN eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, his companion, Lindsay Beanblossom of Vincennes, IN and her children, Mickey Hamm, Michelle Campbell, and Joey Hamm who is deceased.     

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN with Pastor Tommy Pierson officiating. Burial in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday.
