John T Williams

John T. Williams, 79 of Sullivan, IN passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.  He was born in Decker, IN June 25, 1942 the son of Emil Francis Williams and Dorothy Agnes (Bouvy) Williams.

            John graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Pharmacy, and

 was the  owner of Milburn’s Pharmacy in Sullivan, IN for 40 years, he was also a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Indiana Pharmacy Association.      Survivors include his wife of 54 years Diana (Mitchell) Williams whom he married on October 26, 1968, one son, Scott Williams of Bloomington, IL two daughters; Melissa Carreno (Ismael) of Chicago, IL, Kathy McCrory (Steve) of Evansville, IN and a step daughter, Laura Barker (Daryn) of Borden, IN. six brothers; Emil Francis Williams (Gini) of Vincennes, IN. Jim Williams (Linda) of Rollinsford, NH. Lawrence Williams of Rockville, IN, Bill Williams (Shirley) of Vincennes, IN. Chuck Williams (Nancy) of Harrison, OH. and Dave Williams of Vincennes, IN. three sisters; Sister Mary Francis of Ferdinand, IN Mary Ann Traylor (Wayne) of Littleton, Co. and Sally Macklin (Tim) of Newton Falls, OH.  four grandchildren; Amia Carreno, Megan McCrory, Ashlyn Salyer (Matt) and Daniel Barker (Hannah) and a great grandchild, Aaron McCrory and several nieces and nephews.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Paul Michael Williams, and a sister Helen Hoffman

            There will be no visitation, the family has chosen cremation. A Catholic Mass service will be held June 25, 2022 at 11:00AM at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sullivan, IN. There will be a Farewell Celebration after the Mass at Sweet P’s Agape Café (formerly) Milburn’s Pharmacy in Sullivan, IN.
