Julie Kay Gettinger, 43, of Shelburn, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at her residence after an extended illness.

She was born on January 28, 1976 in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of Ronald Morris and Beulah Harrington Morris. Julie was a paralegal at Johnson Law Office for several years. She loved her children dearly.

Julie is preceded in death by her nephew, Tyler Joseph Morris.

Survivors include her parents; Ronald and Beulah Morris of Shelburn, Indiana, two sons; Ryan Joseph Gettinger and Eric Colton Gettinger both of Shelburn, Indiana, four brothers; Joe Morris (Kaye) of Ward, Arkansas, Donnie Morris of Oblong, Illinois, Doug Morris (Lynerose) of Phoenix, Arizona, and Steven Todd Morris (Lethi) of Tucson, Arizona, sister, Kim Tritz (Jack) of Fort Worth, Texas, three nephews: Steven Morris, Steven and Cody Morris and niece, Andrea Cortez. She is also survived by several aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 13, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, Indiana. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home.
