Karen Darlene Rusk, 68, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

She was born on November 22, 1952 in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of Denzil Rusk and Elsie Peden Rusk. Karen graduated from Sullivan High School in 1970 and earned her associate’s degree. She worked at North American Latex for 30 years and was a member of the First Christian Church in Sullivan, Indiana.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her brother, Douglas Kim Rusk (Sonnie) of Farmersburg, Indiana, nephew, Todd Rusk of Shelburn and her cousins.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Sullivan County Humane Society.

Due to State Mandate, only 50 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time, and face mask must be worn.
