Obituary
Kevin R. Potter Sr., 68, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at his residence.
He was born on September 23, 1954, in Anderson, Indiana the son of Mose and Joann Gibson Potter. Kevin was a mechanic and worked for Blann and Sons for several years. He served in the US Marines and a member of the Sullivan Moose Lodge #2517.
Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Alberta “Bertie” Helbling and brother, Glen Bailey.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Jody Anderson, daughter, Amy Key of Middletown, Indiana, son, Kevin (Regina) Potter Jr. of Tennessee, brother, Tom Bailey of Florida, seven grandchildren; Lucas (Jolene), Zachary, Tanner, Tatem, Chasity, Brooklyn and Bryson and great-grandchildren; Lanceston, Kyson, Lily, Cairo and Emri, and his bonus children, Jessica Vest, McCartney Rogers, Lincoln and Loni Rogers and his dog, Charlie.
A motorcycle ride in memory of Kevin will begin at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 30, 2023, starting at the Sullivan Moose Lodge. A celebration of life will be from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Sullivan Moose Lodge 400 Depot Street Sullivan, Indiana 47882.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with Funeral expenses.
