Lex Gene Doyle, 83, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on September 24, 1940, in Paxton, Indiana the son of Frederick Frank Doyle and Christine Bedwell Doyle. Lex graduated high school and married Donna Kay Smith on August 22, 1970. He was a veteran of the US Army. Lex was a self-employed plumber as well as a heating technician for several years and retired from Allomatic as a machinist supervisor.

Lex is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 53 years Donna Kay Doyle and twin brother Rex Dean Doyle.

Survivors include his daughter Nicole Wright (Joseph) of Sullivan, Indiana, son Kaz Doyle (Stacy) of Noblesville, Indiana, two grandchildren; Gavin Wright (Bekah Adkins) and Kaz Lexington Ray Doyle, sister Martha Jane Davis of Shelburn, Indiana and brother Larry Doyle of Southern California.

Burial will take place at a later date in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
