Lois L. Walters, 81, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Sullivan, Indiana.

She was born on January 13, 1941 in Crawford, Illinois the daughter of Herchel Raid Tedford and Edith May Crum Tedford. Lois graduated high school and married Dennis P. Walters in June of 1962. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 59 years Dennis Walters who passed away on November 13, 2021, two brothers; Howard Tedford and Larry Tedford, two sisters; Dorothy Foster and Norma Beauchamp and brother-in-law, Harry Beauchamp.

Survivors include two daughters; Brenda Garrett (Kenneth) of Sullivan, Indiana and Paula Walters of Bradenton, Florida, four grandchildren; Elizabeth Garrett, Alison Garrett, Katelyn Garrett and Ryan Walters Honn, two brothers; Keith Tedford (Sue) of Wisconsin and Leo Tedford (Vicky) of Illinois, sister, Rebecca Helm (Myron) of Illinois, sister-in-law, Margaret Tedford of Illinois, and brother-in-law, Wayne Foster.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on May 4, 2022 at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. David Cox officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
