Lori Lynn (Ehrheart) Sowders

Lori Lynn Ehrheart Sowders, 53, of Dugger, Indiana formerly of Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

She was born on November 6, 1971, in Roodhouse, Illinois the daughter of Douglas Warren Ehrheart and Mildred Dowdy Ehrheart. Lori graduated from high school and was a lifelong homemaker.

Lori is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billy Sowders on December 24, 2022, and mother-in-law, Ann Ehrheart.

Survivors include her three sons; Jesse James Sowders (Emily) of Granite City, Illinois, Wyatt Matthew Sowders of Merom, Indiana and Douglas Robert Sowders, four daughters; Amanda Lynn Ehrheart, Samantha Dawn Ehrheart, Rebecca Haynes (Ray Harden) of Merom, Indiana and Abbiegail Smith (Erik) of Bicknell, Indiana, brother, Bill Ehrheart (Guinn) of Pittsburg, Kansas, brother-in-law, Jesse R. Sowders Jr of Brazil, Indiana, niece Glenda Williman of Granite City, Illinois, sister, Pammy Dennis (Dan) of Bicknell, Indiana, seven grandchildren; Emma, Avahh, Ariel, Taylor, Cayden, Blake and Nathan and her favorite cousin, Nikki Dawson (Sara Brinkman) of Alton, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 22, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana. Interment will follow in Mann Turman Cemetery in Graysville, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
