Obituary

Lou Booker, 90, Sullivan, died April 25, 2023, at her home with her family. 

She was born on June 3, 1932, near Cass to Buena Vista (Smallwood) and Sam McCammon.  

She attended Dugger Union High School and later became a licensed LPN. She worked at Union Hospital and the former A.P.&S. Clinic. She was the owner and operator of Four Seasons ceramics shop in the 1980's. She was also co-owner and bookkeeper for residential and commercial rental properties and family farming operations.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Tom Booker, Sr., who died May 2, 2018; sister, Dorothy Mitchell and six brothers, Clifford, Norman, Dean, Leon, Donald, and Darwin    McCammon. 

She is survived by two sons, Tom (Nancy) Booker and Joe (Cathy) Booker both of Sullivan; four grandchildren, April Moriarity (Brant), Ryan Falconbury (Ashley), Cody Ayers, and Katy Booker; and four great grandchildren, Patton Moriarity, Wyatt, Addison and Zeke Falconbury and other relatives. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Schuessler, Lou's excellent and dedicated caregivers from Hands that Serve and Gentiva Hospice.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 1st, 2023, at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
