Margie Ann Hays, 92, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan, Indiana.

She was born on March 27, 1928 in Midland, Indiana the daughter of Fred Hoffman and Opha Lammey Hoffman. Margie graduated from Midland High School in 1946. She married Lawrence E. “Rusty” Hays on December 24, 1947. She was a life-long homemaker and loving mother. She was a member of the Sullivan First Baptist Church since 1966.

Margie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence E. “Rusty” Hays, one son, Edward L. Hays, two brothers; Charles Hoffman and Fred Hoffman and sister, Betty Stokes.

Survivors include son, Lawrence “Larry” Hays Jr. (Janet) of Sullivan, Indiana, daughter, Joy Roberts (Bob) of Kokomo, Indiana, daughter-in-law, Connie Hays of Sullivan, Indiana, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 26, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, Indiana with Pastor Brett Cox officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
