Mary Erskine Obituary

Mary N. Erskine, 98, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Breckenridge Health and Rehab.

She was born on January 7, 1923 in Apache, Oklahoma the daughter of John and Martha Mooney. Mary was a broker and owner of Escrow Escort Co. She was a member of Sullivan Methodist Church.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Monya Lester, husbands; Vincent William Walkup, Charlie Villemin and John Erskine and eleven siblings.

Survivors include her son, Bruce Walkup (Julie) of Sullivan, Indiana, four grandchildren; Barry Walkup (Nancy), Elizabeth Walkup, Katie Doran (Mike) and Bruce Lester and six great-grandchildren; Vincent Walkup, Peyton Walkup, Preston Doran, Parker Doran, Presley Doran and Monya Lester.

A private burial will be held at a later date in Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
