Mary A. Fagg, 98, of Sullivan, IN passed away Thursday , October 21, 2021, at her residence.

            She was born in Washington, IN November 30, 1922, the daughter of Frank Frederick and Margaret Gardner Frederick.

Mary was a retired LPN at Mary Sherman Hospital in Sullivan, IN, and also worked at the Sullivan Convalescent Home. She was a member of the Veale Creek Baptist Church in Washington IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, also her first husband, Charles Simmons, and second husband, Chauncey Fagg, a daughter, Emily Soyack, seven siblings, Edward, Nellie, Dorothy, Sue, Julie, Betty, and Garnetta, and a grandson, Charles.

            Survivors include a son, Bill Simmons (Lora) Shelburn, IN, daughter, Phyllis Romine (Gary) of Sullivan, IN, brother, Donald Frederick of Washington, IN, 6 grandchildren, Mary Beth (Shane), Bruce (Brandy), Kevin (Amanda) Kendra (Mark) Troy (Jennifer), and Paul (Jennifer), 22 great-grandchildren, Kylee, Ericka, Joshua, Megan, Quincie, Dylan, Ace, Chance, Brynna, Hannah, Hailey, Lane, Lynzie, Kelsea, Gaven, Landry, Sylvia, Evelyn, Luke, Mia Harley, and Blade, and several great great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN with her nephew, Jeff Frederick officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial in the Center Ridge Cemetery.
