Mary Jo Kinkel, 90 of Sullivan, Indiana passed away peacefully at the Waters Nursing Home early Thursday morning.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Kunkel and her parents Dr. and Mrs. J. S. Brown. She married Jerry on September 10 of 1955 and they had two daughters; Cathy (Phil) Rash and Beth (Jay) Tislow. They had three grandchildren; Stacey (Greg) Beall, Chad (Leah) Tislow, and Lauren (T.J.) Wolf. Also, they had seven great grandchildren; Brody and Hudson Beall, Lily and Landry Tislow, and Macy, Camden, and Zane Wolf.
Mary Jo graduated from Carlisle H.S. in 1953. She was a member of the Sullivan First Baptist Church, Tri Kappa and Friday Afternoon Club. Mary Jo loved traveling, cooking, sewing, knitting, and taking care of her dogs.
A private graveside service for immediate family will take place at a later date at Center Ridge Cemetery.
