Mary Jo Watkins, 91, of Vincennes, Indiana formerly of Sullivan, Indiana passed away June 21, 2022.

She was the 6th child born to Hannan and Faye Buffaloe on October 17, 1930. She was married to Ira “Whitey” Watkins.

Mary Jo is survived by her children: Peggy Taboas, Becky Jones (Jerry) and Jerry Watkins (Lisa), grandchildren: Niki Kaiser-Fischer (Jason), Anisa Taboas, Anya Bida, Mitch Neil Kaiser, Andrea Taboas, Griffin Watkins (Katherine), Jessica Kimutis (Tom) and Tifty Courtney (Brian), great-grandchildren: Colton, Addison, Ivy, Mikayla, Wyatt, Adelaide, Chloe, Elizabeth, Emersyn, Brooke and Georgia, brother, Bob Buffaloe and sister, Katy Walker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ira Watkins, brothers: Junior and Gilbert Buffaloe and sisters: Louise Buffaloe, Thelma Watkins and Maxine Kaye.

Mary Jo was known to be a hard, tireless worker, a noodle maker, had a strong fear of cats and considered herself the best bingo player in the country

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 27, 2022 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Michael Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.
