Melba R. Hall, 91, of Shelburn, IN passed away peacefully Tuesday, January27, 2026 at Bridgepointe Nursing Home in Vincennes, IN.

Melba was born March 6, 1934 the daughter of Earl Wilber and Nellie Christy Wilber.

            She was a 1952 graduate of Shelburn High School.

            She was preceded in death by her parents: two husbands, William Medford Wible Jr. and Lowell Hall; a son Jeff Hall and 7 brothers and sisters.

            Melba is survived by one son, William Brent Wible (Darlene) of Jasper, IN, a daughter, Lori Ann Phillips (Brian) of Vincennes, IN; a sister, Linda Jean Hedden of Hymera, IN: five grandchildren; Bart Wible, Ambra Baker, Alex Hall, Lukas Hill, and Zack Hall; 5 great grandchildren; and 8 nieces and nephews.

            Visitation will be Friday, January 30th from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN. Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Saturday, January 31, 2026, the burial will follow in the Pleasant Green Cemetery west of Scott City.
