Mildred Joan Farmer, 91, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor.

She was born on July 13, 1930, in Bedford, Indiana the daughter of Harry P. Duncan and Mildred Bozell Duncan. Joan graduated from school high school and was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of the Shelburn First Baptist Church.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Farmer; infant son, Richard William Farmer; great-granddaughter, Chloe Farmer; two brothers, Richard Duncan and Harry Duncan and sister, Marilyn Oliphant.

Survivors include two sons, Robert S. Farmer (Brenda) of Farmersburg, Indiana and Dennis R. Farmer of Sullivan, Indiana; two daughters; Denise E. Farmer of Sullivan, Indiana and Kimberly J. Norris (Todd) of Shelburn, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be at 7:00 P.M., Friday, April 8, 2022 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Ben Wetherington officiating. Visitation from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Brust Funeral Home.
