Norma Ann (Fisher) Unger

Norma Ann Unger 88, of Carlisle, IN passed away Monday, June 29, 2026, at her residence.

She was born in Sullivan, IN December 16, 1937, the daughter of Norman Fisher and Marguerite (Buckley) Fisher.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Norma was a retired RN at several hospitals including, Methodist, Mary Sherman and University in Indianapolis.

She was a member of the Sullivan United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Howard Unger whom they married on January 24, 2009, son, David Patterson of Sullivan, IN, stepson Del Unger (Tammi) of Carlisle, IN, stepdaughter, Jan Adcock (Jim) of Assumption, IL, 10 grandchildren, Amy Jaworsky, Sean Patterson, Melissa Patterson, Nathan Patterson, Lance Unger, Adair Everhart, Tamar Crum, Taryn Johnson, Dean Adcock, and Del Adcock, and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Friday, July 3, 2026, at Brust Funeral Home with Rev. Cory Herrin officiating. There will be a Nurse's Honor Guard presentation during the service. Burial will follow in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until funeral services Friday.
