Norman E. Nash

Norman E. Nash 88, of Carlisle, IN passed away Monday, November 21, 2022, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

            He was born in Farmersburg, IN June 27, 1934, the son of Garnet Nash and Hattie (Norman) Nash.

            Norman was a graduate of Purdue Calumet University, an Army Veteran, retired accountant and a member of the 12th St. Church of God in Linton, IN. Norman taught Sunday School and played his guitar in Church for years, which was his passion.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son in-law Edward Lewis.

            Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Dixie Hiatt Nash whom he married on December 2, 1961, a son, Kevin Nash (Sherri) of Portage, IN, a daughter Kelli Lewis of Carlisle, IN, six grandchildren, Krystal Brown (James), Erik Lewis (Brei), Megan Lewis, Jaci Franze (Dom), Frank Sanchez (Stefanie) and Whitney Sanchez, twelve great grandchildren, Angelica Ramos, Tyler Matthews, Rylan Brown, Makayla Sanchez, Carson Lewis, Amelia Ramos, Kadence Brown, Ellie Lewis, Wesley Redding, Josalyn Brown, Royce Ramos, and Brooklyn Franze, a sister in-law, Cindy Horton of Carlisle, IN and several nieces and nephews. His family was his pride and joy.

            Funeral services will be at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN. Friday, November 25, 2022, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Chris Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until services Friday. Burial in the Providence Cemetery in Paxton, IN.
