Patricia A. Bean, 78, of Merom, IN passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Millers Merry Manor in Sullivan, IN.

She was born in Sullivan, IN on November 15, 1942 the daughter of Harold E. Heady and Lucille (Wright) Heady. She was raised by George and Edith (Stinnett) Gettinger

Patricia was a homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star, The Garden Club, Graysville PTO, the Home EC Club, president of the Sullivan Booster Club and the Merom Improvement Association for years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, also three brothers, Harold Heady, Kenny Heady and Larry Eno, three sisters, Naomi Ruth Davis, Dorothy Dobbins.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years whom she married on February 25, 1962 Chester K. Bean, two sons, Chester Bean Jr. (Rita) of Merom, IN and Paul A. Bean of Merom, IN, a daughter, Sherri Bean of Hymera, IN, two brothers, Jack Heady (Annalee) of Linton, IN, and Jack Gettinger of Merom, IN, a sister, Marilyn Deann Roseman of Indianapolis, IN, 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, a sister in-law Sandra Gettinger of Merom, IN, Carolyn Wright of Sullivan, IN and several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Merom Institute Chapel with Rev. Carol Ebling officiating. Burial will follow in the Merom Cemetery. There will be a Visitation from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN.
