Peggy Lou (Thrasher) Roberts

Peggy Lou Roberts, 86, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at The Waters of Sullivan.

She was born on November 15, 1937, in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of Bradford Thrasher and Ursula Maxine Shake Thrasher. Peggy graduated high school and married Robert Leon Roberts on July 9, 1960. Peggy was a beautician and a member of the Rose Chapel Methodist Church in New Lebanon, Indiana. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and gardening.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 61 years Robert “Bob” Leon Roberts who passed away December 22, 2021, one son, Mark Ellis Roberts, brother, James Stanley Thrasher and two sisters: Carolyn Josephine Thrasher and Marilyn Kay Squires.

Survivors include son, Jeffery Lee (Sharon) Roberts of Sullivan, Indiana, three grandchildren; Brittnee Paige (Jedidiah) Smith, Mark Alan (Mandy) Roberts and Wyatt Lee Roberts, great-grandchildren; Jaklee Jane Smith, Teagan Leanna Wilson, Lyric Ann Roberts and Loralei Michele Roberts and Markley Rae Roberts and one niece, Lisa Chilton.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Brust Funeral Home.
