Randall "Randy" Dean Creed

Randall “Randy” Dean Creed, age 72, of Sullivan passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. 

He was a loving Husband, Father and Papaw. A lifetime resident of Sullivan County, he was born on November 28, 1950, to Julius and Eloise (Burke) Creed and was a graduate of Sullivan High School. Randy was a lifelong Farmer, spending his winters working at Regional Hospital where he made many friends. 

Randy is proceeded in death by his loving wife, Sherra Warken Creed, whom he married on March 31, 1988.  They were by each other’s side for 29 years.  Randy and Sherra were blessed with two children, Matthew (Ruth) Creed and Allison (Justin) McKain. His greatest joy were his grandchildren: Reese, Myles and Sadie Creed, and Micah and Hayes McKain. He was so proud of his grandchildren. 

Randy was a supporter of his children in any capacity, ready to run them to practice, watch their activities, and work on any project. He also spent numerous hours in the barn, tending to livestock and 4-H projects right alongside his children. Randy was a lover of the game solitaire, RC planes and ornamental pheasants. 

Randy was proceeded in death by his wife, parents, sister Darla Pfaff and brother-in-law Ron. 

Surviving are his children, grandchildren, nephew Logan (Kristen) Pfaff and special uncle Lynne Burke.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in New Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.
