Rebecca Ruth (Shepler) Schlotman

Rebecca Ruth Schlotman, 75, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on December 27, 1947 in Paxton, Indiana the daughter of Fred Shepler Jr. and Rebecca “Stell” Goforth Shepler. Rebecca retired from the Sullivan Department of Family and Children after 30 plus years and was a life-long member of the Eastern Star.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 40 years, Charles Cruea Schlotman.

Survivors include her son, Christopher W. “Chris” Stevens (Rebecca C.) of Jackson, Tennessee, brother, Tom Shepler of Sullivan, Indiana, grandson, Nick Stevens, niece, Sarah Shepler, and nephew, Jonathan Shepler.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM, Friday, March 31, 2023 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with an Eastern Star service. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Brust Funeral Home.
