Rebecca Elaine Walls, 72, of Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

Becky was born on October 2, 1951, in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of Emory Tomey and Dorothy Irwin Tomey. She graduated high school and was a life-long homemaker. Becky married Leon Walls on April 28, 1989. She was a member of the Sullivan Church of God. Becky loved her family and friends including her life-long best friend Patti Scott. She enjoyed cooking, crafting and drinking coffee while chatting for hours on the phone.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sarah Beth Brummett and four sisters: Patricia Ann Vickrey, Jeanetta Richardson, Judith A. Craighead and Karen S. Board.

Survivors include her loving husband of 33 years, Leon Walls, two daughters; Cynthia Renee Stierwalt (Rich) of Newburgh, Indiana and Gina Rayanne Scott of Sullivan, Indiana, brother, Bob Tomey (Nancy) of Merom, Indiana, four grandchildren; Alexa Rae Stierwalt, Jackson Cole Stierwalt (Leah), Austyn Blair Dowell (Aaron) and Myles Brummett (Destiny). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM, Friday, December 29, 2023, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in New Lebanon, Indiana with Pastor Jason Jones officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
