Regina (Harris) Petty

Regina R. Petty 92 of Shelburn, IN passed away at her residence Thursday, May 14, 2026.

            She was born in Sullivan Co., IN July 21, 1933, the daughter of Forrest Harris and Ethel Johnston Harris.

            She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, David Petty in January 2013, and her parents.

            Survivors include a son Gregg Petty (Kim) of Shelburn, IN, a daughter Dee Petty of Shelburn, IN two grandchildren; Chad Petty (Jen) and Jenna Crouch (Mike) and five great grandchildren; Sophia, Noah, Kolton, Dylan, and Aiden.

            She loved going to the great grandchildren’s basketball games.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Tuesday May 19, 2026 at Brust Funeral Home with Pastor Don Ransford officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until the services Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
