Rick Raymond Bogard, 73, of Sullivan, IN passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at his residence.

            He was born in Sullivan, IN August 19, 1952, the son of Raymond Rick Bogard and Alice Marie Scott.

            Rick retired from the Southwest School Corp., was an Army Veteran, and a member of the Sullivan VFW Post #2459 and the Sullivan American Legion Post #139.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, also his wife, Catherine Obenski Bogard, six brothers: Gerald, Bobby, Jerry, Terry, Jim, Dean Bogard, and two sisters, Sherry Bonham, Carolyn Hendrix, and one grandchild, Brileigh Taylor.

            Survivors include one son, Brooks Bogard (Carrie) of Sullivan, IN, a brother, Jay Bennett of Merom, IN, and six grandchildren; Lillie Taylor, Austin Bogard, Jacob Lewis, Brittany Lewis, Whitney Hibdon, AnnaLee Lewis, and several great grandchildren.

            Graveside services will be at 1:00PM Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Merom Cemetery with Military Graveside services by the Sullivan Co. Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 12:30 PM Thursday at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Funeral Home to help with Funeral expenses.
