Robert Cecil Walker Jr.

Robert Cecil Walker Jr. 74, of Sullivan, IN passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Sullivan, IN. January 6, 1949, the son of Robert C. Walker Sr. and Emma Lucena Ketchup.

 Robert worked for the Laborers Union #204 for 31 years, he was also a laborer for the City of Sullivan. He was an Army Veteran, a member of the Sullivan American Legion Post #139 and the Sullivan Moose Lodge.

  He is survived by his wife Rebecca “Becky” Hollifield Walker, step children, Regonal Petoskey of Bloomfield, IN, Conchetta Petoskey of Linton, IN, three brothers, Larry Walker of Sullivan, IN, Tom Ashton (Pam) of Linton, IN, Carl Ashton (Esta) of Shelburn, IN, sister, Loleta Hutson of IL, two brother in-laws, David Hollifield  and Chuck Brodie of Sullivan, IN, a sister in-law, Mary K. Green (Addison) of Bradenton, Fl, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and two special nieces, Anna Walker Heil (Steven) of Sullivan, IN and Lisa Williams of Sullivan, IN

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Alma Brodie, sister-in-law, Donna Walker, brother, Louis Ashton, stepdaughter, Lisa A. Petoskey, brother-in-law Mark Hollifield, sister-in-law, Barbara Kuehn and her husband Bob.

 Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Brust Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Hollifield officiating. Burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Wilfred, IN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00PM until 2:00PM.
