Robert “Bob” S. Farmer, 73, of Farmersburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Gibson Family Center for Hospice in Terre Haute, Indiana.

He was born on September 16, 1949, in Bedford, Indiana the son of William “Bill” Farmer and Mildred Joan Duncan Farmer. Bob married Brenda Snider on February 1, 1970.

He worked for the Union Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 157 for 54 years and was a volunteer fireman for several years. He attended Farmersburg Methodist Church and enjoyed racing.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ricky Farmer and granddaughter, Chloe.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Brenda Farmer, two daughters; Angela Frye (Charlie) of Bloomfield, Indiana and Christi McPike (Craig) of Shelburn, Indiana, son, Michael Farmer of Farmersburg, Indiana, sisters; Denise Farmer of Sullivan, Indiana and Kim Norris (Todd) of Shelburn, Indiana, brother, Dennis Farmer of Sullivan, Indiana, eight grandchildren; Jordan (Cassandra), Caleb (Kiersey), Cody (Cierra), Jesse, CJ, Tyler, Adam and Reese and three great-grandsons; Carter, Miles and Cooper. He is also survived by his special friends Glenn and Carol Andrew.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Jeff Blansett officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
