Roger Kit Lewis

Roger Kit Lewis, 72, of Huntertown, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

He was born on October 22, 1948 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Dewey G. Lewis and Patricia Strange Lewis. Roger graduated from high school and joined the United States Marine Corps. He was a delivery driver for Napa for several years. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Angola, Indiana.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dianna Shelton.

Survivors include his wife, Violet Willhoite Lewis, two sons; Roger Lewis Jr. (Marcie) of Sullivan, Indiana and Derek Lewis of Tibado, Louisiana, brother, Robert Lewis of Lafayette, Indiana, grandchildren; Holly, Devin, Ashley, Dalton, Amber, Jeannie and Jennifer and great-grandchildren; Ayverie, Corbyn, Kora, Kaitlyn, Grant and Macy.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with a Military rites service by the Sullivan County Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the service on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Brust Funeral Home.
