Roger Kit Lewis Jr.

Roger Kit Lewis Jr.57, of Carlisle, IN passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, IN.

            He was born in Vincennes, IN July 16, 1968, the son of Roger Kit Lewis and Norma Ernestine Hancock Lewis.

            Roger graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1986 was an Army and Marine Veteran, he retired from the Veterans Office in Sullivan, IN was a member of the Sullivan American Legion Post #139, also the Sullivan VFW Post #2459 and the 40 &8 an avid pool player, golfer and a softball player.

He was preceded in death by his father Roger Kit Lewis.

            Survivors include his mother, Norma Ernstine Lewis of Carlisle, IN, wife Cheryl (Bevehimer) Lewis of Carlisle, IN, a son Devin Lewis (Avianna) of Yma, AZ. Two daughters, Holly Lewis of Portland, OR and Ashley Lennings of Sullivan, IN brother, Derek Lewis (Beth) of Calahan, FL and four grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the Sullivan VFW from 3:00PM until 8:00PM.
