Roland Burrows Jr. Obituary

Roland A. Burrows Jr., born September 30, 1928 in Shamrock Texas to Josephine & Roland A. Burrows Sr, at the age of 90 was reunited with his Heavenly Father December 1, 2018.

Serving in the Air Force, Navy, and retiring with 24 years of service in the United States Army. He served two tours in Vietnam, earning a Purple Heart. Roland's service to his country continued, additionally serving over 20 years with Civil Service.

Survived by his wife of 54 years Doris H. Burrows, Daughter Angie Samm (Mark), Grandchildren David (Elizabeth) and Brenda Samm, as well as two great grandchildren Tyler and Avery Samm.

In Loving Memory there will be a private ceremony with military honors Thursday December 6, 2018. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to the Cancer Research Institute in his honor.
