Ronald L. Reeves, 80, of Sullivan, IN passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor Rehab in Sullivan, IN.

            He was born in Sullivan, IN March 25, 1941, the son of Nolan Edward Reeves and Vera Lucille (Ragsdale) Reeves Page.

            He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather Sherrell Page, also a brother, Nolan “Sonny” Reeves.

Ronnie graduated from Dugger Union High School Class of 1959, he was an Army Veteran of the 82nd Airborne, a member of the Dugger American Legion Post # 224, the Sullivan County Conservation Club, a Lifetime Member of the NRA, and the Sullivan First Christian Church.

            Survivors include his wife of 58 years Diana (Pierson) Reeves whom he married on May 11, 1963, three daughters, Faith Aileen Reeves of Dugger, IN, Cara Lyn Phegley of Sullivan, IN and Carmen Leigh Williams of Carlisle, IN three sisters, Carolyn Sue King (Gary) of Paint Lick, KY, Cynthia Boston (Roger) of Louisville, KY., and Virginia Kitzmiller (Paul) of Jeffersonville, IN three grandchildren Nolan Lee Williams (Sara), Nathan Lee Williams, and Nicholas Keith Phegley, four great-grandchildren Jakob Lee Williams, Layla Jean Williams, Jameson Lee Williams and Brantley Lee Wise, a sister-in-law, Catherine Reeves of Vincennes, IN and several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 9, 2022, with Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in New Lebanon, IN. with Military Graveside Rites by the Sullivan Co. Honor Guard. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM until services
