Ronald "Ronnie Ed" Southwood

Ronald “Ronnie Ed” Southwood, 75, of Shelburn, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

He was born on April 17, 1946 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Paul Southwood and Esta Wall Southwood. Ronald was a laborer in the Union Local #204. He attended the Shelburn Church of God.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marjorie Alexander Southwood and three brothers; Claudie Southwood, Kenneth Southwood and Rick Southwood.

Survivors include his companion, Donna Cooley, son, Danny Southwood of Shelburn, Indiana, two daughters; Melissa Danner (Edward) of Shelburn, Indiana and Shanna Southwood of Shelburn, Indiana, brother, Arthur James Southwood of St. Petersburg, Florida, four grandchildren; Heaven Southwood (Chris Smith), Coltin Southwood (Kalee), Emily White (Brian Michael) and Elijah White (Crystal), three great-grandchildren; Elizabeth, Mason and Linley. He is also survived by several other loved ones who called him Pap.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Sullivan Civic Center. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
