Ronnie Wayne Gerkin

Ronnie Wayne Gerkin 72, of Indianapolis passed away March 1, 2021.

He was born April 27, 1948 in Sullivan to Robert and Donna (Stutsman) Gerkin.

He graduated from Carlisle High School in 1966 and served in the U.S. Army.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Donna Gerkin; a brother Raymond and an infant sister.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Sue Wilhelm (Ben) of North Carolina, grandchildren, Alexander and Kiley Wilhelm of North Carolina, a brother Donnie Gerkin (Tonya) of Oklahoma City, OK, an Aunt, Vivian Halberstadt of Sullivan, sister-in-law Janet Gerkin of North Vernon, IN and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 6th at Brust Funeral Home, Sullivan with the Rev. Harold Hatfield officiating.  Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Carlisle.  Visitation at 12:00 until time of services.
