Rose Reed

December 21, 1944 – July 5, 2021

Rose D. Reed 76, Sullivan passed away at her residence Monday, July 5, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edward Reed and Ruby (Plew) Reed, grandson Ethan Michael Hoesman in 2010 and two brothers; Harry Eddie Reed and Clarence Reed.

Rose was a retired OB Nurse of Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She lived her life helping and taking care of babies.

Survivors include her daughter; Mary Oxendine (David) of Sullivan, Indiana, grandchildren; Cody Purvis, Jada Purvis, Layla Purvis and Linkin Frazee, sister, Elsie McClanahan, niece, Angela Jones of Texas and nephew, Joe McClanahan of Ohio.

A celebration of life will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.
