Sandra L. Gettinger, 90, of Merom, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at The Waters of Sullivan Nursing Home.

She was born on August 18, 1934 in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of Rex Daugherty and Juanita Pinkston Daugherty. Sandra graduated from high school was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of Merom Methodist Church.

Sandra is preceded in death by parents, husband, James Robert Gettinger and brother, Jerome Daugherty.

Survivors include three sons; David W. Gettinger of Pennsylvania, James S. (Misty) Gettinger of Marshall, Illinois and George Gettinger of Sullivan, Indiana and five grandchildren; Rex Gettinger, Maximus Gettinger, Brandon Gettinger, Eirnin Gettinger and Ellie Gettinger.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 16, 2024 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana. Interment will follow in Merom Cemetery in Merom, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.
