Shirley M. McAnally, 89, of Shelburn, IN went to be with the Lord Friday, September 27, 2025, at Springhill Village in Terre Haute, IN.

            She was born in Terre Haute, IN on August 11, 1936, the daughter of Ernest Braun and Julia Grace May Braun.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, also her first husband, Charles A. Rogers in 1983, second husband, Harry L. McAnally in 2024, four brothers, Robert  Braun, Bill Braun, Edward Braun and Ernest Braun Jr., also five sisters, Virginia Galbaith, Mary Emma Schutte, Deloris Swenson, Sharon Willis and Juanita Braun.

            Survivors include a son, Charles Michael Rogers of Brazil, IN, a daughter, Marla Kleewein (Joe) of North Platte, Nebraska, four grandchildren, Timothy Rogers, Aaron Rogers, Alicia Burr, Danielle Cross and six great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

            Shirley was a member of the Shelburn First Baptist Church, the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 53 years. During her life she operated three businesses; a gift shop, an exercise salon, and she ran Windmill Acres in Shelburn, IN. Music was a very important part of her life; she especially loved the Gospels and Hymns.

            At her request there will be no memorial service.
